Biography
Boris leads the READ Initiative and David C. Onley Initiative. A teacher, researcher and executive, he has spent his career seeking to understand and support the success of students with disabilities. For the past 15 years, he has led Carleton University’s efforts—through direct student services, faculty development, applied research and professional standards—to become a national leader in accessibility. Boris earned a doctorate from McGill University and is a member of the American Educational Research Association, Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, and College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. He also holds faculty positions at Carleton University as Adjunct Research Professor with the School of Industrial Design, and at McGill University as Adjunct Professor in Educational and Counselling Psychology.
